I started Epic Mommy Adventures back in 2013 when I was at the peak of my single parenthood experience (or at least what I thought was the peak! If only I knew then what I know now!).
My son was 2 and I was barely surviving through the “terrible twos”. I was struggling with the experience and needed an outlet without the expense of therapy.
It worked for quite some time – 4-5 years to be exact – until I hit writer’s block and life block.
My passion of writing became more of a burden, and I just didn’t have the desire to do it anymore.
So I ignored the blog through 2019 and definitely during the pandemic in 2020.
But writing started to call my name in 2021…so I’m back!
And then I found out that my web hosting expired and all of my posts were lost…
It hit me like a ton of bricks…
I came really close to just giving up and not writing anymore.
Luckily, my best friend kept putting the bug in my ear to get back to writing. She encouraged me to just get back to it and write about anything. Just get it all out…
So here I am!!!
I’m starting over again!
I hope you can be witness to my growth and evolution during my absence, because so much has happened and I’m so excited to share with all of you.
