MERRY CHRISTMAS!

I just wanted to take some time to wish you all a Merry Christmas! Enjoy this day with your loved ones! I'm completely exhausted after the morning's handiwork - unwrapping presents, cleaning up, cooking and eating breakfast, assembling and playing with toys, and so much more. I'm looking forward to finally sitting still. I'm looking forward to taking a nap later, but until then, I'm going to enjoy playing with these toys with Micah while watching some Christmas movies! … [Read more...]

An Unexpected Visit with Daddy

It is always unexpected to hear from Micah's Daddy...and it's even more unexpected for him to fulfill one of Micah's requests. But there's always room for a little unexpected surprise, and I'm always incredibly happy when I can make even the simplest of Micah's wishes to come true. Micah has had a fascination with trains for a very long time.  Even before he fully understood what they did and how they worked, he was fascinated with them. Every time we would cross some train tracks, his eyes … [Read more...]

An Epic Mommy Update…

I've been a bit disconnected (yet again) from my blog, but I wanted to get you up to date on what's been going on in the world of Epic Mommy Adventures... What's Happened... Home Life My nephew came to visit in March, and I honestly hope he stays forever.  He's been such a treasure trove - bringing in the groceries, taking out the trash, washing the dishes, keeping the house neat and tidy, caring for Micah while he was sick two weeks ago (I'll share more about that in a minute), walking … [Read more...]

Why Can Dogs Poop Outside, But I Can’t?

I think that potty training may finally be complete. Micah hasn't worn diapers or Pull-Ups in quite a while now, and honestly, I don't remember the last time that I bought either one of them. But with the closure of potty training starts another issue...finding a bathroom wherever we go. Whereas I'm the camel in this duo, Micah seems to have to go to the bathroom every 5 minutes - the cold air makes him want to go, running water makes him want to go, running around makes him want to … [Read more...]

How My Son Renewed My Christmas Spirit

Last year, I was so excited about the holidays. We were moving to a new apartment, so there was tons to do. We were packing, purchasing new items for our new apartment, and most importantly, it was the first true Christmas for Micah. He was so excited about Christmas coming, and I barely got away with hiding his presents. He was attached to the hip every time I tried to hide it! I was so excited watching my baby open his presents - the look on his face was priceless! This year, I have not … [Read more...]

But I didn't dive in too much into the products that we received. Since I absolutely love sharing about books that we've read, I wanted to share more details about the books we received in this post.
